Frequently Asked Questions

Question Will the Fuel Stick clog up my fuel injectors?

Answer The quick answer is no. Fuel Stick is specifically designed to completely dissolve in gasoline or diesel and burn cleanly leaving no residue to clog up injectors or spark plugs, in fact Fuel Stick has specific ingredients to help clean your fuel system.

Question What happens if I accidentally put more than the recommended number of Fuel Sticks in my fuel tank?

Answer Nothing. To many Fuel Sticks will not harm your vehicle - but there are no performance benefits from over dosing your tank with the Fuel Stick.

Question What types of vehicles can the Fuel Stick be used on?

Answer Fuel Stick can be used on any 2 or 4 stroke gasoline or diesel engines. It doesn't matter if your vehicle has a carbureted engine or the latest electronic fuel injection system.

Question Do I have to completely fill my tank when using Fuel Stick?

Answer Not at all. Fuel Stick has been designed to allow partial fills as well. Simply read the back of your package to determine how much to use for partial fills.

Question How long does it take for the effect of the Fuel Stick to kick in?

Answer Fuel Stick will dissolve as soon as it is introduced to the gas tank. It must go through a cleaning process to clean your injectors and compression chamber so if the system is very dirty it may take some time to clean up properly before you notice an improvement in performance. If your engine is clean, you will feel the difference within a few kilometers.

Question Can I put the Fuel Stick into my fuel tank even if I don't put fuel in the vehicle?

Answer You can but many fuel tanks have an ant-siphon plate to prevent a hose going too far into the fuel tank. Your Fuel Stick may become lodged on this. It is best to add the Fuel Stick when you are filling the tank - the fuel will wash the stick down into the tank.
